Mouse-wheel zoom now works when an unlocked layer is selected. The selected-layer transform box sends wheel events to the same zoom handler as the canvas viewport, so zooming stays smooth whether the layer is locked or unlocked.

Fixed the Move / Pan hand getting stuck after dragging the unlocked main graphic. The special selected-main-layer pan path now listens for pointer release and pointer cancel directly, so releasing the mouse resets the cursor and stops panning reliably.

Brush tools now start correctly when the pointer is on top of a selected layer's transform outline. Eraser, Restore, Edge Trim, and Brush Fill use the same brush-start path from the selected layer overlay as they do from the whole artboard, so layer-only brushing no longer feels inactive.

When the main graphic is unlocked and the Move / Pan tool is active, dragging the main image body now pans the preview instead of moving or trimming the layer. Any main-graphic transform that still happens keeps final Auto-Trim suspended during that rebuild so the image is not cropped just from navigation.

Light Mode now uses a softer premium palette with cool white backgrounds, white tinted panels, pale blue-gray and lavender borders, deep slate text, purple active states, and lighter airy shadows. Tool logic, locked main layer behavior, Color Removal, Slice, Offset Path, and export behavior were left unchanged.

The uploaded main graphic is still protected as a locked layer, but it is no longer selected automatically after upload. When the locked main graphic is selected, the canvas mini menu now shows only the lock icon, advanced layer actions stay blocked until unlock, and the locked overlay no longer blocks preview panning, toolbar buttons, zoom controls, or preview controls.

Daylight mode now opens as the default look using the stable light palette. The uploaded main graphic becomes a locked layer by default, and the canvas mini menu now includes a lock icon that switches to unlock after you click it. The main left controls can still affect the uploaded graphic while the layer is locked.

Added hidden learning from the new cruise examples. The silent matcher now studies both the background and the artwork palette, including text color, graphic color, secondary accents, dark outlines, and saturated gradients, while keeping Auto-Trim on for applied results.

Added silent one-time Color Removal auto-apply from the updated PDF examples. The hidden matcher now treats textured text and graphics differently: black, navy, gray, pastel, and dense dark textured artwork choose different tolerance and contiguous behavior while keeping Auto-Trim on for the applied result.

Download Image Only is now the main gradient export button using the blue-to-purple colors, while the Vectoriser flow is kept as a smaller secondary text action underneath.

Rebuilt from stable v3.8.66, made the Full premium dark design the normal app style, removed the UI Style selector path, and kept Preview BG buttons and the custom color picker in control of the canvas background.

Manual Slice now behaves like a pending selection builder: Slice creates the final layer from the current combined selection, + adds the next drawn area, and - subtracts from the pending area. Right-click also works from the Artboard / Whole Image target by opening the main graphic layer actions.

Right-click now opens the full layer action menu from the Layers panel row and from the selected artwork on the canvas. When you right-click artwork, the tool selects the visible layer under the cursor first, then opens the same menu as the three-dot button.

Manual slice + now adds the next drawn selection to the pending shape, and - subtracts from it before you press Slice. Ctrl does the same as +, Alt does the same as -. Right-click any layer to open the same actions as the three-dot menu, and the first uploaded main graphic now appears as a layer automatically.

The Slice expand/collapse button now uses a matching SVG chevron icon instead of plain text, so it fits the style of the other toolbar icons.

The Slice strip now uses one symbol button only: > opens all slicers and < collapses them. The separate X close icon was removed.

The Slice toolbar now stays compact by default. Click the small grid icon to animate all slicers open from left to right, then click the X icon to collapse back to one visible Slice tool.

The Slice flyout now follows the left-to-right toolbar flow. Click the Slice button to open a horizontal Affinity-style picker with icon labels for Rect, Circle, Lasso, Points, and Brush.

The five slice buttons are now inside one Slice flyout button on the floating toolbar. Click the Slice button, pick Rectangle, Circle, Lasso, Points, or Brush, and the main button keeps showing the last selected slice icon.

Added a Photoshop-style point slice tool in the floating slice toolbar. Click around the artwork to place points, then click the first point, double-click, or press Enter to close the shape. Use the target color option in the popup when you only want matching pixels, and use the undo icon or Backspace to remove the last point.

Copy/paste was moved into the layer option sections. Use the icons beside Fill Color Overlay, Color Removal, Edge Trim, Sticker Maker, Offset Path, or a specific Color Removal / Offset entry to copy those settings and paste them onto another layer or matching entry.

Added this What's New view and hid Auto Slice Mode from the Layers panel. The copy/paste placement from that build was corrected in v3.8.57.

Offset Path now compares worker output against the canvas fallback during smoke tests, so the app can detect when the fast renderer is drifting. No special action is needed.

Offset layers keep their link to the original artwork more reliably after copy, paste, duplicate, undo, and refresh-style workflows.

When you copy a layer that has generated Offset Path layers, pasting it also brings the linked offset layers with it.

Create / Update Offset uses a background worker when possible. If it takes time, you can cancel the job and keep working.

Adjust Amount, Move X, Move Y, Angle, smoothing, opacity, or color and the preview refreshes before you press Create / Update.

Use the duplicate icon on an Offset Path entry to make another offset with the same settings, then change its color or movement for stacked outlines.

Move X and Move Y are measured in px. Amount is typeable, and Angle pushes the offset direction instead of stretching the artwork.

Create / Update Offset places generated offset layers under the selected artwork, like a production border or shadow layer.

Offset Path previews the outside stroke around the visible shape so you can judge the outline before creating the layer.

New Offset Path entries start disabled. Turn on Enable when you want that entry to render.

Offset Path works by creating colored child layers under the original. Keep the original selected, set your offset entries, then press Create / Update Offset.

The old saved color slots were removed to keep the panel simpler and avoid accidental color clutter.
